This one started with my cockatiel. He asks for head scratches constantly — the moment you stop, he's already nudging your hand again, fluffing up, giving you the look. So I drew it. This is my art on the hoodie.
It's the second piece in my Bird Brain Series. The first one was him clutching a bag of millet spray with a "mine, all mine" energy that anyone with a bird will immediately recognise. More are coming — he gives me plenty of material.
The design covers the back: a big, bold illustrated version of him, mid-fluff, with every scratch-related demand listed around him — scalp rubs, cheek rubs, ears, chin area, the works. It's funny because it's real life.
The hoodie itself is the kind you'll actually wear, not just buy. Soft medium-heavy fabric that feels comfortable straight out of the bag, a double-lined hood, colour-matched drawcord, and a roomy kangaroo pocket for cold hands or whatever you've got in there. It fits relaxed without being shapeless.
A solid gift for any bird person who gets it — or an honest self-purchase if you've ever rearranged your whole afternoon around a cockatiel's mood.
