Every backyard has a resident authority figure - the magpie running security, the possum working night shift, the cat that's filed for permanent leave from small talk. At CritterFit Co, we just believe someone should finally give them the paperwork to match.

How it started

This all began in April 2026, with one cockatiel mid-heist on a millet sack, and a few evenings spent after work turning it into a design. Then came a second cockatiel piece - the "Scratch Me" badge - and from there it just kept going, one late night at a time, until the collection had grown past a dozen designs.

Somewhere in there, a personal request came in: a hand-drawn ginger cat, detailed enough that finishing it properly meant buying a new tablet just to get the linework right. It took the better part of a month - the kind of project you say yes to because it matters to someone, not because it's efficient.

Looking back at that whole early stretch - duck mums for Mother's Day, penguins mid-hug, a growing pile of bird and pet designs with no single thread tying them together - one thing was always true, even before it had a name: this was for animal people. It just took a while to find the specific, deadpan, slightly bureaucratic way of saying it.

Where we landed

That search became CritterFit Co - real animal behaviour, stated with a completely straight face, printed on soft, durable, true-to-size unisex tees (S–3XL), made to order and shipped from wherever's closest to you.
